Peri Peri Chicken Burger

Ingredients

  • ½ X Chicken Breast
  • 1 X Brioche Style Burger Bun
  • 200g X Chips
  • 5g X Peri Peri Rub
  • 1 X Baby Gem Leaf
  • 5ml X Garlic Whirl
  • 1/6 X Lemon (juiced)
  • 1 X Smoked Cheese Slice
  • 1g X Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1g X Sea Salt
  • 40ml X Mayonnaise

Pre-Stage

  1. 1 1. Defrost the chicken breast and burger bun
  2. 2 2. Mix the peri peri rub, lemon juice & garlic whirl
  3. 3 3. Marinate the chicken in the peri peri mix

Method

  1. 1 1. Grill the chicken breast, finish in the oven if needed
  2. 2 2. Deep fry the chips, drain excess oil, season with sea salt
  3. 3 3. Toast the burger bun
  4. 4 4. Build the burger – bun base, baby gem, chicken breast, cheese, bun lid, skewer
  5. 5 5. Place mayo into a ramekin
  6. 6 6. Serve as shown
