Steak, Mushrooms & Onion Sandwich
Ingredients
- 2 Slices X White Bloomer Bread
- ½ X Rump Steak
- 200g X Chips
- 25g X Flat Mushroom
- 20g X Red Onion
- 35ml X Mayonnaise
- 15g X Salted Dairy Butter
- 10ml X Rapeseed Oil
- 5ml X English Mustard
- 2g X Sea Salt
- 1g X Cracked Black Pepper
Pre-Stage
- 1 1. Defrost the bread
- 2 2. Mix the mayo & English mustard to make mustard mayo
- 3 3. Slice the red onion and mushrooms
Method
- 1 1. Toast the bread, butter both sides
- 2 2. Deep fry the chips, allow excess oil to drain off, season with sea salt
- 3 3. Cook the steak to the customers liking and slice once cookedSauté the steak,
- 4 mushrooms and onions together in a hot pan, rest the steak
- 5 4. Place the steak, mushrooms, and onions into the sandwich, slice through the
- 6 middle of the sandwich and skewer
- 7 5. Place mustard mayo into a ramekin
- 8 6. Serve as shown
