Steak, Mushrooms & Onion Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices X White Bloomer Bread
  • ½ X Rump Steak
  • 200g X Chips
  • 25g X Flat Mushroom
  • 20g X Red Onion
  • 35ml X Mayonnaise
  • 15g X Salted Dairy Butter
  • 10ml X Rapeseed Oil
  • 5ml X English Mustard
  • 2g X Sea Salt
  • 1g X Cracked Black Pepper

Pre-Stage

  1. 1 1. Defrost the bread
  2. 2 2. Mix the mayo & English mustard to make mustard mayo
  3. 3 3. Slice the red onion and mushrooms

Method

  1. 1 1. Toast the bread, butter both sides
  2. 2 2. Deep fry the chips, allow excess oil to drain off, season with sea salt
  3. 3 3. Cook the steak to the customers liking and slice once cookedSauté the steak,
  4. 4 mushrooms and onions together in a hot pan, rest the steak
  5. 5 4. Place the steak, mushrooms, and onions into the sandwich, slice through the
  6. 6 middle of the sandwich and skewer
  7. 7 5. Place mustard mayo into a ramekin
  8. 8 6. Serve as shown
