Sausage & Mash
Ingredients
- 1 X Beer Batter Portion
- ½ X Cumberland Sausage
- 200g X Mash
- 50ml X Beef Dripping Gravy
- 20g X White Onion
- 10g X Plain Flour
- 5g X Butter
- 2g X Watercress
- 1g X Parsley
- 1g X Cracked Black Pepper
- 1g X Sea Salt
Pre-Stage
- 1 1. Defrost the beef dripping gravy
- 2 2. Unroll the sausage, cut in half and re-roll, then skewer
- 3 3. Make beer batter as per sub recipe
Method
- 1 1. Grill the sausage
- 2 2. Reheat the beef gravy
- 3 3. Add butter, chopped parsley and season the mash, reheat in a microwave
- 4 4. Slice the onions, flour the onion rings, coat in beer batter then deep fry, allow
- 5 to drain once cooked
- 6 5. Garnish with watercress
- 7 6. Serve as shown
