Chicken Schnitzel
Ingredients
- 1 X Chicken Breast
- 200g X Skin-on Chips
- 20g X Panko Breadcrumbs
- 20ml X Caesar Dressing
- 10g X Garlic Butter
- 10g X Plain Flour
- 5g X Crispy Onions
- 1g X Sea Salt
- 1g X Cracked Black Pepper
- ½ X Baby Gem
- ¼ X Egg
Pre-Stage
- 1 1. Defrost the chicken breast
- 2 2. Once defrosted place the chicken in between some clingfilm and using the
- 3 base of a pan or a rolling pin, gently flatten the breast until 5mm thick all
- 4 over, be careful not to go through the chicken
- 5 3. Place the chicken in the flour, then the beaten egg and finally into the
- 6 panko breadcrumbs
- 7 4. Make the garlic butter as per sub recipe
Method
- 1 1. Deep fry the chicken schnitzel
- 2 2. Cut the baby gem into quarters and remove the core
- 3 3. Deep fry the chips, then toss in sea salt
- 4 4. Drain the oil from the chicken, place the garlic butter on top and grill to
- 5 start it melting
- 6 5. Dress the baby gem with Caesar dressing and then sprinkle the crispy
- 7 onions over the top
- 8 6. Serve as shown
