Cottage Pie
Ingredients
- 1 X Cottage Pie Mix
- 200g X Peka Mash Potato
- 70g X Carrots
- 70g X Savoy Cabbage
- 10g X Salted Dairy Butter
- 5ml X Cold Pressed Rapeseed
- Oil
- 1g X Sea Salt
- 2g X Cracked Black Pepper
Pre-Stage
- 1 1. Pre-portion the mash, with 5g butter, salt and pepper
- 2 2. Defrost the cottage pie mix, if sales allow
- 3 3. Wash, peel and chunky chop the carrots, blanch & cool
- 4 4. Wash and chunky chop the cabbage, blanch & cool
Method
- 1 1. Reheat the mash, place into a piping bag
- 2 2. Reheat the pie filling, decant into dish, top with piped mash and bake
- 3 3. Roast the carrots, in oil and seasoning
- 4 4. Sauté the cabbage with the remaining 5g of butter
- 5 5. Serve as shown
