Calamari

Ingredients

  • 150g X Blanched Squid Tubes
  • (Defrosted Weight)
  • 40ml X Heinz Professional
  • Mayonnaise
  • 2g X Salt & Chilli Seasoning
  • 2g X Spring Onion
  • 25g X Roosters Chick Dip
  • 1/16 X Lemon
  • 2g X Red Chillies

Pre-Stage

  1. 1 1. Defrost the squid tubs
  2. 2 2. Mix lemon and mayonnaise to make lemon mayonnaise
  3. 3 3. Slice on angle the spring onion and red chillies
  4. 4 4. Make chick dip as per manufacturer's guidance

Method

  1. 1 1. Dry & slice the squid and coat into the chick dip and deep fry
  2. 2 2. Drain and toss with salt and chilli seasoning
  3. 3 3. Place the lemon mayonnaise in ramekin
  4. 4 4. Garnish with spring onion & red chillies
  5. 5 5. Serve as shown
