Sausage & Mash

Ingredients

  • 1 X Cumberland Sausage
  • 1 X Beer Batter Portion
  • 200g X Mash
  • 50ml X Beef Dripping Gravy
  • 30g X White Onion
  • 10g X Plain Flour
  • 5g X Butter
  • 2g X Watercress
  • 1g X Parsley
  • 1g X Sea Salt
  • 1g X Cracked Black Pepper

Pre-Stage

  1. 1 1. Defrost the beef dripping gravy
  2. 2 2. Make the beer batter as per sub recipe

Method

  1. 1 1. Grill the sausage
  2. 2 2. Reheat the beef dripping gravy
  3. 3 3. Add butter, chopped parsley and season the mash, reheat in a microwave
  4. 4 4. Slice the onions, flour the onion rings, coat in beer batter then deep fry,
  5. 5 allow to drain once cooked
  6. 6 5. Garnish with watercress
  7. 7 6. Serve as shown
