Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 X Slices of Farmhouse Bloomer
  • ½ X Chicken Breast
  • 10g X Chick Dip
  • 25g X Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 20g X Tomato
  • 2 X Baby Gem Leaf
  • 10g X Burger Sauce
  • 20ml X Mayonnaise
  • 1 X Streaky Bacon Rasher
  • ½ X Egg
  • 1g X Sea Salt
  • 1g X Cracked Black Pepper

Pre-Stage

  1. 1 1. Defrost the chicken breast and bread
  2. 2 2. Make the chick dip as per sub recipe, once chicken is defrosted, place in chick dip
  3. 3 and then panko breadcrumbs
  4. 4 3. Soft boil the egg, once cooked, make the egg mayo
  5. 5 4. Wash and store baby gem in an ice bath
  6. 6 5. Slice the tomato

Method

  1. 1 1. Deep fry the breaded chicken, once cooked slice
  2. 2 2. Grill the bacon
  3. 3 3. Toast the bread, on one side only
  4. 4 4. Build the sandwich – bread - toasted side on the outside, burger sauce, baby gem,
  5. 5 chicken, bacon, egg mayo, bread – toasted side on the outside
  6. 6 5. Cut the sandwich in half and skewer
  7. 7 6. Serve as shown
